Clinical Supervision: Intersectionality and Social Determinants of Health, is a NEW online 7-hour training that can be used to fulfill the Virginia Board of Social Work’s requirement for Licensed Clinical Social Workers to provide clinical supervision to social workers pursuing their LCSW. 

The course will be open to participants for three days, and there will be one required synchronous Zoom session (a two-hour duration) during that week for review and discussion.

Friday, May 24 | 3:00p - 5:00p ET

  • Virginia Board of Social Work regulations
  • The supervisory relationship & the impact of harmful supervision
  • Social Determinants of Health: Introduction to SDH, how to address SDH & how to assess SDH
  • Intersectionality: Introduction, how to apply intersectionality to supervision & key concepts of intersectionality on clinical supervision
